Summer overview part 2

Sheesh. I can't believe it's over! I'm in between packing and reflecting on the second half of our summer here in Oklahoma in awe of how fast that just went. After returning from our 2 week trip to AZ/ Newport, Eliza and I got to exploring OKC. I am just a tad obsessed with Urban Spoon. I found some amazing restaurants and fun spots. I've always been a very independent person so I haven't minded exploring by myself. I suppose I'm not really by myself anyway with my awesome mini sidekick everywhere I go! Stetson joined us on the weekends when he wasn't working.
                                                      Showing some pride for 'Merica.
Eliza is smitten with Uncle Blake. She has a thing for men. I can't wait for her to meet Uncle Andy and Uncle Hunter when they return home from their missions.

Soooo glad to be back with Dada.

Exploiting my child for some free chicken nuggets. No shame here.

Miss Eliza turns 1!!!!!

Nana sent a birthday cake with a sweet card on Eliza's special day.

Birthday pancakes

This little girl cleaned up. I seriously didn't even buy any of this. Grandma sent a birthday package and her Great Grandpa Banks sent birthday money I used to buy her some presents :) Lucky girl.

We took a weekend trip to Dallas last weekend because Stetson's company got our office tickets to Six Flags for winning a competition. I LOVED it. Texas is gorgeous and they know how to do food.

Summer overview part 1

This summer has consisted of lots of park days, pool days, team dinners, and good ol' quality time with my happy girl. Eliza has learned about 10 signs, learned to walk, and has added a few words to her vocabulary since we've been here. I can't believe how much she has changed in only 3.5 months. We've had a great experience, but I am SO excited to go back to our home and have time with Stets!

Half way through the summer Eliza and I went to Arizona to visit our family and take a week-long trip to Newport with my family. I wish Stetson could have joined us, but we have some fun plans in store for the fall to make up for the vacations he had to miss this summer.

Lots of beach days, Seaside doughnuts, and bike rides. I MISS IT!!!
